OUTRUN NOOK BARN HAS BEEN DESIGNED AS A RELAXING RETREAT FOR UP TO FOUR. THE INTERIORS ARE INVITING AND INTERESTING WITH THICK STONE WALLS, EXPOSED BEAMS AND A SPACIOUS LIVING AREA.
ENJOY THE WARMTH FROM THE WOODBURNING STOVE WITH A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE. TALK, READ, COOK, OR SIMPLY RELAX IN THE SPACE AROUND YOU. THE BARN IS A COSY HIDEAWAY THAT’S GOOD FOR THE SOUL.
The Barn has free wifi access and unlimited logs for the wood-burning stove. It also has some little luxuries in the form of a Nespresso coffee machine, and Pure Lake hand soap and moisturizer. Beautiful Egyptian cotton linens and soft towels are also included. There is a walled and fenced garden area with seating and a BBQ overlooking open countryside.
LIVING SPACE
You’ll pass through the hallway straight out into a double height open living space, with exposed beams, large glass doors bringing light into the Barn and a wood burning stove as the focal point. Designed to be a haven of warmth and comfort this area is spacious and inviting, for family, friends and loved ones to share. The living area has three comfy sofa to choose from with plenty of cushions and throws for added comfort. The mezzanine gallery above the living area has a desk and a beautiful leather chair and footstool.
You’ll find a TV with Sky & netfilx, a DVD player, board games and a selection of books and maps. In terms of tech, you’ll feel at home in the Barn. There is a widescreen HD TV, Alexa is on hand to help and WiFi is available throughout the property.
KITCHEN & DINING
Upstairs the open plan kitchen over looks the living area. It’s well-equipped and the dining table seats four with views across the barn and the fells. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of cooking equipment.
We include essentials such as olive oil, salt and pepper, a handful of Nespresso capsules, tea, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, tea towels and cloths.
BEDROOMS, BATHROOMS AND SNUG
You’ll find the first bedroom in the Barn upstairs, it’s warm and cosy with a colour scheme to reflect the scenic views. The blues and yellows give the room its own quirky country feel. You’ll be super comfy in the handmade king sized bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, soft pillows and cosy throws.
The main bathroom is newly refurbished with stunning floor tiles, a muted colour scheme and sleek shower, the pressure is good and if you want a little more just press Boost.
To find the second bedroom and bathroom you return to the entrance and turn away from the living area, going down stairs to the lower level. You’ll pass through the hallway straight into a cosy snug with a comfy sofa, which can open be used as sofa bed for children. The room has everything you need for some quiet time away from the main area. With TV, DVD and deep window seat overlooking the lane and views across the fields, the ideal place to read and just escape.
The second bedroom is directly off the snug, known as the sunshine room because if its’ beautiful yellow colour scheme. You’ll be super comfy in the wrought iron double bed, with lovely Egyptian cotton bedding, soft pillows, cosy throws, sipping tea whilst looking across the fells.
With a bedroom and bathroom on each floor everyone has a little added privacy and some me time.
OUTSIDE
Head out of the living area doors and you’ll find a charming garden with table and chairs and a bbq. Dine alfesco or just enjoy a cup of coffee and the stunning views. As it gets dark grab a throw and see a sky full of stars on a clear night.
From the front door or the back door you have loads of walks on the doorstep, if you plan carefully you may stumble upon a pub on your way.
